The St. Patrick's Day season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than attending West Orange's parade? The long running parade brings the entire community together in a festive display of holiday spirit. With past appearances from Batman, high school marching bands, the Turtle Back Zoo, Irish dance academies, and of course plenty of bagpipers, the parade is a celebration that those young and old will want to attend.
The parade also honors a Grand Marshal and Deputy Grand Marshals, who have served the community and will take part in the parade. This year's Grand Marshal is Kevin Kinney, and the parade's Deputy Grand Marshals are Gwen C. Glazier, Marian Reilly Cardace, and Robert R. Hoehn.
The parade will being at Main Street & Mt. Pleasant Avenue (West Orange Town Hall) and runs north along Main Street to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Eagle Rock Avenue. Step off for the parade is at 12:15 pm.
