The Studio Player's bring to the stage "Jake's Women," by Neil Simon and directed by E. Dale Smith-Gallo and Claudia Budris. The play tells the story of Jake, a novelist who has had more success with fiction than with his real life. Facing a marital crisis with his second wife, Jake begins to daydream about all of the women who have been part of his life. These comic and often moving flashbacks playing in his mind are continuously interrupted by real-life visits from the women in his life, including his revered first wife, his daughter, his sister, his analyst, his current wife who is leaving Jake for another man, and a prospective third wife.
"Jake's Women" will play March 24, 25, 26, 30, 3 and April 1, 2, 6, 7, 8; Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $17 for students/seniors. Opening night tickets are buy one, get one free.
